”Secular” abstract triptychs                 acrylic paint on wood                                 by Jas

Three dimensional projects for teens and adults who meditate

Beautify your daily meditation or thinking spot with a handmade triptych, candle holder or cross. We will use wood, paint, decopage and gold leafing techniques to create the perfect set and setting for your secular or religious altar. A presentation about symbol and archetypes from the beginning of time as well as modern icons will provide focus and direction for the artist and non-artist alike. Plan on making a triptych and then either a candleholder or cross. If you have a hair dryer please bring it! and a sack lunch. I’ll provide coffee, tea and scones in the morning.

$125/person includes all materials
