THE ART AND SYMBOLISM OF THE TAROT – STUDY GROUP

May 14, 2021 by 4yourwebsite admin

Join us as we color the Major Arcana from the classic Tarot… all 22 cards starting with The Fool and ending with The World. We will use watercolor pencils to study the symbolism, colors and traditional meaning of one card per week. You do not need any experience with art or the tarot to gain an appreciation for the metaphor and life lessons illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith in the Rider Waite deck. This group will meet on Mondays from 2:30-3:30 pm. There is a one-time supply fee of $75 (includes oversized cards to color, a set of Staedtler watercolor pencils and a guidebook) and a weekly fee of $20. This is not designed as a time for therapy or readings – it is for students of the art and symbolism that is deeply embedded in cultures worldwide. Email [email protected] if you wish to participate so there will be enough materials available. THIS GROUP WILL START MARCH 7th and be held IN PERSON at Daily Practice.

Group size is limited.
