THE GREAT ROUND – The Realization of the Self

February 3, 2019 by 4yourwebsite admin

October 5 – mandala painting

The Great Round Scroll and Client Mandalas

Mandalas are drawings in circle format and have an old and established place in healing – physically, mentally and spiritually. The word mandala is Sanskrit for “circle”. Carl Jung re-introduced the West to mandalas and inspired several art therapists to study them. At this introduction to mandalas Jas Milam, artist and art therapist, will offer participants a chance to create their own mandala and learn more about the use of mandalas in a Daily Practice. Those attending will also find their mandala on the MARI scale as developed by Joan Kellogg. Come ready to paint and learn how mandalas can be used to map the unconscious mind and promote healing. No experience required.
